In 1st Decision After Ayodhya Trip, PM Modi Sets Target To Install Solar Rooftop On 1 Crore Houses

In his first decision after returning from Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday announced that his government will launch “Pradhanmantri Suryodaya Yojana” with the target of installing rooftop solar panels on 1 crore houses.

The Prime Minister, who participated in”Pran Pratishtha” rituals of Ram Lalla earlier today, said that the decision will not only reduce the electricity bill of the poor and middle class but will also make India self-reliant in the energy sector.

“All the devotees of the world always get energy from the light of Suryavanshi Lord Shri Ram. Today, on the auspicious occasion of consecration in Ayodhya, my resolution got further strengthened that the people of India should have their own solar roof top system on the roof of their houses. The first decision I have taken after returning from Ayodhya is that our government will launch “Pradhanmantri Suryodaya Yojana” with the target of installing rooftop solar on 1 crore houses. This will not only reduce the electricity bill of the poor and middle class, but will also make India self-reliant in the energy sector,” he said in a tweet.

Addressing a gathering after the consecration of Ram Lalla in the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Lord Ram will no longer live in a tent but will now reside in a magnificent temple.

“It is Ram’s supreme blessings that we are witnessing it,” Modi told the select gathering comprising top saints, political leaders, industrialists, film stars, poets, litterateurs and sportspersons.

“This is a temple of national consciousness in the form of Ram. Ram is the faith of India, Ram is the foundation of India. Ram is the idea of India, Ram is the law of India…Ram is the prestige of India, Ram is the glory of India…Ram is the leader and Ram is the policy. Ram is eternal…When Ram is honoured, its effect does not last for years or centuries, its effect is for thousands of years,” PM Modi said.
