Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) has launched a ‘Career Pathway Centre’ which includes all placement, internship and student career development activities. The centre will offer essential soft skills training to complement academic readiness as well as act as a testing ground for students to explore self-employment opportunities. Students will get comprehensive training, networking opportunities, entrepreneurial ventures, and enhanced employability, the IIT said.
The student-run Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) of the institute has also been integrated into this newly established body.
