The application correction window for the IIT Joint Admission Test (JAM) for Masters 2024 will open on November 24. The window was expected to open on November 20 but it has now been postponed. This facility enables the applicants to modify their details simply by visiting the official website at jam.iitm.ac.in once the link is activated.
JAM 2024 will be conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Madras in over 100 cities across India on February 11. The examination will be conducted in two sessions – the forenoon session and the afternoon session. The forenoon session will be held for three subjects including Chemistry (CY), Geology (GG), and Mathematics (MA). The afternoon session will hold the Biotechnology (BT), Economics (EN), Mathematical Statistics (MS), and Physics (PH) examinations.
How to modify the JAM 2024 application details?
If you are looking to make changes to your JAM 2024 application then make sure that you follow the steps mentioned below –
Step 1. Firstly, you will have to visit the official website of IIT JAM 2024
Step 2. Then you must click on the highlighted link tab that has been provided on the homepage.
Step 3. Enter your login credentials as required.
Step 4. Now, a correction window tab should be visible. Click on that.
Step 5. Make the changes/updates that you need to in the application form.
Step 6. Ensure that you cross-check everything after filling in the details.
Step 7. Click on the submit tab on the page.
Step 8. Download the application and take a printout for future reference.
JAM 2024 will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) format on a total of seven papers at the undergraduate level. The question papers will have three objective-type question sections. They include multiple choice questions (MCQ), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.
The JAM 2024 admit card will be released on January 8, 2024. Applicants will have to cross-check their details and then download it. It is advised to get it printed to maintain a hard copy of the document. This prevents any last-minute mis-happenings.
