Made By Google Event: What To Expect
Leaks have hinted that the upcoming Pixel 8 model is expected to be available at EUR 799 (around R. 70,200) and the starting price for the Google Pixel 8 Pro could be EUR 1099 (approximately Rs.95,700). According to reports, the Pixel 8 series, Pixel Watch 2, and the new Pixel Buds Pro will be available for pre-order on e-commerce platform Flipkart post launch.
Recently, a report WinFuture also revealed press renders of the upcoming Pixel devices. According to the WinFuture, the Google Pixel 8 is expected to have a 6.17-inch full-HD AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels.
As per reports, Pixel 8 is rumored to come with a 6.7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 3120×1440 pixels with a 120Hz refresh rate. Both devices are coming with Google Tensor G3 chipset.
Also, the Pixel 8 is expected to have two storage options– 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB, paired with 8GBRAM and the Pixel 8 Pro is rumored to come in three storage configurations — 12GB+128GB storage, 12GBRAM +256GB storage, and 12GB+ 512GB storage.
Coming to the Pixel Watch 2, the next-gen smartwatch from Google will come with the Snapdragon W5 Series chip, larger battery of 306mAh and a 1.2-inch circular OLED screen.
During the event, Google is also rolling out the Android 14 update to all the eligible Pixel phones, bringing new features such as a more colourful Material You, improved accessibility settings, and more.
