Australian opener David Warner has congratulated Tollywood star Allu Arjun on his monumental achievement of bagging the national award. Allu Arjun also became the first actor from the Telugu film industry to secure the prestigious title of the best actor for his stunning performance in the film ‘Pushpa: The Rise‘. The post caught the attention of David Warner, who is recognised to be a huge fan of the actor and his movie, Pushpa: The Rise. The Australian cricketer is currently in India to represent his country in the ongoing ICC ODI World Cup. Despite being busy with his cricketing assignments, Warner took out time to express his heartfelt wish for his favourite Indian film star. He reshared Allu Arjun’s post on his Instagram story with a text reading, “Congrats and Well Done, Allu Arjun.”
David Warner never refrains from showcasing his love and respect for Indian culture. Not only the cricketer but his wife and daughters seem also fond of Indian movies and songs. The Warner family was often seen dancing to the beats of Indian tracks on several Instagram posts and reels.
Earlier during Australia’s World Cup warm-up match against Pakistan, David Warner was seen celebrating a catch in the iconic ‘Pushpa’ style. Warner shook his legs to the tune of “Shvalli” at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, sending the crowd into a frenzy. A clip of the Australian’s impromptu performance was shared by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Instagram. “Typical David Warner,” the caption of the post read.
