Bollywood actor Shamita Shetty is a certified fashionista–her social media accounts are proof. Shilpa Shetty’s sister and an acclaimed dancer herself, Shamita regularly shares snippets from her glamorous life where she wears the most stunning outfits. From casual day brunches with her friends or attending an awards ceremony, there is hardly an occasion where the 43-year-old actor is confused about what to wear. As such, when she shared outfit details from Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations–which she spent with family- we couldn’t help but appreciate it.

Shamita attended Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations with her mother, sister Shilpa, brother-in-law Raj Kundra, and their kids Viaan and Samisha. She looked stunning doing so and adorned an intricately detailed sharara set that we can’t seem to take our eyes off. It featured shades of pastel pink and gold zari embroidery and featured heavy hand embroidery throughout the ensemble, especially the flared pants of the sharara. Shamita chose this festive fave fit from fashion designer Gopi Vaid and let the outfit do most of the talking.
The actor, who rose to fame with Mohabbatein (2000), kept her makeup look extremely subtle so as to not overshadow the outfit. Her beauty choices for the night featured kohl-rimmed eyes, a slight flick of eyeliner, several coats of mascara, filled-in eyebrows, nude blush on her cheekbones, and a pinkish-nude lip colour that made the look all the more ethereal. For accessories, again, Shamita did not choose anything too heavy for a day filled with festivities. She wore a pair of heavy golden jhumkas with kundan work and matching gold bangles on one hand.
However, the Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hain actor stole the show with her distinct wavy hairstyle. She was decked up by celebrity stylist Anuradha Khurana who also styles Mouni Roy, Ankita Lokhande, and several other television actors. On the work front, the actor is also an interior designer and has participated in several reality television shows like Bigg Boss 3, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (2015), Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 (2019), Bigg Boss OTT (2021) and Bigg Boss 15 (2021–2022).
