National Film Awards 2023 winners Allu Arjun, Kriti Sanon and Alia Bhatt treated fans to a a frame-worthy picture on Tuesday. The trio, dressed in ivory outfits, attended the 69th National Film Awards ceremony in New Delhi. While Arjun and Kriti were seated together, Alia sat with Ranbir Kapoor. Although separated by seating arranged, the Best Actor and Best Actress winners came together after the ceremony concluded and posed for a photo together.
In the photo shared online, the Pushpa actor was seen standing in the middle while Alia and Kriti stood on either sides. Arjun, Alia and Kriti flashed their big smiles as they posed together. In another photo, Arjun and Kriti were also seen recreating the iconic Pushpa pose.
For the unversed, Allu Arjun won the Best Actor award for his performance in Pushpa: The Rise. Allu Arjun made history with the win, becoming the first Telugu actor to bring home the National Award for Best Acting. Meanwhile, Kriti Sanon bagged the Best Actress for Mimi. She and Alia Bhatt shared the Best Actress Award. Alia was honoured with the National Award for her performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi.
Speaking about winning the award, Arjun said at the red carpet of the ceremony, “I am extremely happy I am receiving this award, and receiving it for a commercial film is a double achievement for me personally.” On the other hand, Kriti said, “The journey has taken me about I think 9 years today to be getting this prestigious award but of course to win a national award within a decade is I understand is very very big thing. Am very blessed and fortunate that I got an opportunity like Mimi. Kabhi kabhi itni intensity wali filmein, itna layered character milta nai hai itna easily and m really blessed and fortunate that my producer and my director felt I could do it. And just feeling very elated today.” Alia also expressed her gratitude.
