Sindhu Menon was a popular actress during the 90s and late 00s. She has starred in Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil films. She started acting as a child artist and quickly cemented her position in the industry. But, where is she nowadays?
Sindhu Menon was born to a Malayali family. She has an elder brother named Karthik, a VJ, who recently turned into an actor. Due to her multilingual skills, she has worked in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada industries. She is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer who got an opportunity to be a part of the movie industry after one of the judges in her dance competition, Bhasker Hedge introduced her to a Kannada movie director K V Jayaram. She was roped in for the movie Rashmi in 1994.
The film Rashmi paved the way for her into the industry. Sindhu Menon soon got several offers to act and finally became a full-time actress. She got the role of the lead actress in Prema Prema Prema in 1999 at the age of 13. By age 15, she entered the Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil film industry. She has acted in the movies Bhadrachalam, Uthaman and Samuthiram, respectively. She was even featured in the 2002 movie Nandi opposite Kannada star Kiccha Sudeepa. A few of her popular movies are Kadal Pookkal, Trinetram, and Khushi. However, she received immense fame and recognition after her movie Pulijanmam, which also earned her the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in 2007.
After the silver screen, she moved to the small screen and began to host shows and act in serials like Sriman Srimathi and Stree Hrudayam. In 2009, Sindhu Menon starred in Bharya Onnu Makkal Moonnu and Rahasya Police. Later, she was featured in the Tamil movie Eeram. After a gap of three years, in 2012, she was last seen in a Manjadikuru movie.
Sindhu Menon tied the nuptial knot with an IT guy, Prabhu, on April 25, 2010. The couple are blessed with two sons and a daughter. It is assumed that she got married and is now living happily with her family away from the spotlight.
