Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker welcomed their first son Rocky Thirteen Barker on November 4, reports TMZ. Earlier, in an interaction with Vogue, Kourtney Kardashian revealed that although she had given birth to three kids, her fourth pregnancy was different than others and came with plenty of restrictions. Now that she has brought her bundle of joy into this world, Kourtney and her husband-drummer Travis Barker are over the moon. And little Rocky seems to be bonding well with his parents, especially his father. Recently a video of Travis beating drums to the rhythm of his son’s heartbeat has offered us a glimpse into their lovely bonding moment.

The video dropped on TikTok by Travis Barker shows the Blink-182 drummer celebrating Rocky’s arrival with a fun rock show. “Practicing to my baby’s heartbeat,” read the caption of the post. The video captures Travis wearing a skeleton outfit striking a drum pad with his drumsticks in a particular rhythm. According to Hello magazine, the video was taken at the Cedars Sinai Medical Center, where Rocky was born. Sitting in front of a sonogram, Travis played the instrument in perfect synchronization, beating out a steady drumroll following the rhythm of his newborn’s heartbeat coming from the screen monitor.

TikTok users appreciated Travis Barker’s unique approach to creating a special bond with his son Rocky. They lauded the first-time father’s passion for music in the comments as well. “Now that’s an entrance” commended one user. “Didn’t expect anything less than Travis bringing drums to the delivery room. Earlier this year, during Kourtney Kardashian’s pregnancy, Travis Barker in an interview revealed the reason for wanting to name his son Rocky Thirteen Barker. He said that it was a tribute to Suicidal Tendencies guitarist Rocky George. Travis also added that in a way it was also a tribute to the 1976 Sylvester Stallone film Rocky which according to the singer-drummer is “the greatest boxing movie of all time.”
