Tentatitively titled ‘Suriya 43’, the film will be directed by Sudha Kongara and is prodced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment in association with Meenakshi Cinemas. The film is touted to be a gangster drama. However, no detail regarding its script or plot has been officially announced as of now.
Meanwhile, Suriya is currently working on Kanguva. Directed by Siva, the period action drama will see the south superstar in five roles. It also marks the Tamil debut of Disha Patani. Billed as a magnum opus, it is mounted on a massive scale and budget and promises to entertain the audience with a never-seen-before visual experience and action sequences. While most details about the plot of Kanguva are kept under wraps, it has been revealed that the film will release in both 2D and 3D across ten different languages in early 2024.
Recently, Devi Sri Prasad, who has also composed music for Kanguva talked about the movie and told News18 Showsha, “Kanguva is a very huge film that will come in many languages. I saw some fight sequences and a couple of songs that they shot. It’s massive.”
