Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki Trends at No 1 Film in Australia And New Zealand, Beats Aquaman 2; Deets Inside

Shah Rukh Khan has been basking under the success of his recently released film Dunki. The emotional drama has won everyone’s hearts and looks like it has made a significant mark on the global front. Dunki is trending at the No 1 position both in Australia and New Zealand by beating Aquaman 2. The film is receiving an abundance of love from the audiences of Australia and New Zealand.

Dunki has indeed started Christmas on a relishing note. The film has suppressed big releases like Aquaman 2 and arrived as a first choice of the audience to watch in the theaters. Dunki features an ensemble cast including Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover, along with Shah Rukh Khan. Dunki was screened at Rashtrapati Bhavan on December 24. The film addresses the issue of immigration and takes its name from the phrase ‘donkey journey,’ representing the challenging and risky paths people take worldwide to reach different places.

According to Sacnilk.com, on Friday, December 24, Dunki recorded a nationwide Hindi occupancy of 49.67%, contributing to a total collection of Rs ₹ 74.93 Cr net in India. The highest occupancy was seen in Kolkata, reaching 64.50%, while Kolkata followed closely at 61.50%. Mumbai trailed at 60%, while Chandigarh followed with a 59% occupancy rate. With this, it has crossed 100 Cr India net.
