Model-turned-actor Sahil Salathia is known for his bold fashion sense. He has also displayed his style statement globally at the recent New York Fashion Week in the US. With the Academy Awards just around the corner, Sahil was seen representing the pre-Oscars party in Los Angeles. Marking his presence at the coveted event, the actor, besides celebrating South Asian talent, also met a few Oscar nominees, including stars like Kal Penn, Lilly Singh, and Utkarsh Ambudkar. On the other hand, celebrities like Tan France, Hannah Simone, Rupi Kaur, Anita Chatterjee, Shruti Ganguly, and Archana Misra, among others, were also expected to attend the party.

Several pictures from the event have surfaced on the internet, making Sahil Salathia the talk of the internet.

Speaking about the same, Sahil shared his excitement and said, “I have always believed in doing quality work in my career and I think it has been paying off. I am very excited to be invited to celebrate South Asian excellence at the Oscars this year. I am very excited to meet the 2024 Oscar nominees and the shortlisted filmmakers.”

In the meantime, the actor, best known for his role in Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Panipat, gave an impressive performance in the Amazon Prime Video web series titled ‘Adhura’.

The 96th edition of the Academy Awards is all set to take place on Sunday, 10 March at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles. The event will see Jimmy Kimmel return as the host for the night.

Among all the major nominations, the Best Actor nominees include the likes of Cillian Murphy for Oppenheimer, Bradley Cooper for Maestro, Colman Domingo for Rustin, Paul Giamatti for The Holdovers, and Jeffrey Wright for American Fiction. On the other hand, the Best Actress category includes Lily Gladstone for Killers of the Flower Moon, Annette Bening for Nyad, Sandra Huller for Anatomy of a Fall, Carey Mulligan for Maestro, and Emma Stone for Poor Things.

Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer is clearly leading the race with the highest number of nominations, i.e., 13. It is followed by Poor Things with 11 nominations, Killers of the Flower Moon with 10 nominations, and Barbie with eight nominations.

A list of Hollywood A-listers is expected to attend the event, including the red carpet. Stars like Al Pacino, Chris Hemsworth, Michael Keaton, Jennifer Lawrence, Zendaya, and Dwayne Johnson, among others, have been announced as the presenters.
