Ranbir Kapoor’s latest film, Animal, has been a magnet for controversy due to its portrayal of toxic masculinity. However, the film’s box office performance remains strong, with scenes and songs, particularly the Persian track Jamal Kudu, going viral on the internet even as it continues its theatrical run. The catchy song is featured in Bobby Deol’s entry sequence in the film, where he dances energetically while balancing a glass of alcohol on his head.

Amid the film’s online buzz, a woman who appeared in the song has gained sudden fame. Tannaz Davoodi, an Iranian model and dancer, was part of the choir singing the chorus of Jamal Kudu. Born in Tehran, Iran, Tannaz Davoodi, who goes by Tanni, pursued a fashion design course at Landstede MBO-Mooi & Mode. She has established herself as a model and dancer in India.

In response to the growing popularity of the song on social media, Tannaz expressed her gratitude on Instagram. She thanked Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the director of “Animal,” for the opportunity to collaborate with Bobby Deol, describing it as an honour.
