Brijesh Tripathi, a renowned actor from Bhojpuri cinema, passed away earlier today following a massive heart attack. The veteran actor, well-known not only in Bhojpuri cinema but also for his diverse roles in Hindi films and shows, had a career spanning over 46 years. His cinematic journey extended beyond languages, with contributions to films in many regional languages too, totaling over 250 films.

The news of Brijesh Tripathi’s demise has left the film industry grief-stricken. Reports suggest that he was battling Dengue and, while admitted to a hospital in Meerut, his health deteriorated, leading to the sudden heart attack. According to sources, his entire family resides in Mumbai.

Despite playing smaller character roles in Hindi and other languages, it was the tremendous success of his Bhojpuri film ‘Om’ that catapulted him to global recognition. Subsequently, he worked with leading names in the Bhojpuri film industry, such as Pawan Singh, Dinesh Lal Yadav, and Ravi Kishan.
