After the record-breaking success of his last two films Pathaan and Jawaan, superstar Shah Rukh Khan will soon grace the big screen again this year with his film Dunki. The film is directed by ace filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani and will also star Taapsee Pannu in the lead. Casting is one of the most important aspects of a film and few did it better than Mukesh Chabra.

Speaking to Humans of Bombay about Dunki, Mukesh said, “Raju sir ke saath yeh meri third film hai, PK kiya tha phir Sanju kiya tha. Aur bohot saare ads kiye hain. Ek toh itne bade director Raju Hirani aur phir Shah Rukh sir, voh bhi Jawaan ke baad aa rahe hain ek toh.”

He added, “Voh aisi film hai ki voh kahaani aapke sabke gharo main dil main aise bas jayegi that you will only talk about that film for the next 10 years. It’s such a beautiful story and the best combination with Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani. Usse bada combination mujhe lagta nahi kisi industry main hoga. Film industry main toh bilkul nahi. Dono apne game main top pe hain. Dono ek saath aa rahe hain toh kamaal ki baat hai.”

Mukesh continued, “Raju sir ke saath kaam karna ek poora film school hai. Ek institute hain voh. Aapko itna seekhne ko milta hai unse ki aapko kisi film school main jaane ki zaroorat hai. Voh apne aap main poore school hain.”

While there were reports that Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki is likely to get postponed, it has now been clarified that the film will hit theatres on December 22 this year and is not getting delayed. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his X (formerly known as Twitter) account and revealed that Dunki is not getting postponed.
