BTS' Jungkook Gives A Sneak Peek Into His Solo Album Golden And It Is Heartbreaking
The soul rendition of Hate You snippet captures Jungkook in a monochromatic frame throwing away a bouquet of flowers.

It was earlier this month when K-pop idol Jungkook announced the release date of his debut full-length album Golden. Now, the wait for the details of his highly-anticipated solo project is over. On Monday, the BTS member’s management agency Hybe Labels released a preview video of Golden and fans can’t keep calm. The new clip consists of snippets of the entire tracklist beginning from 3D, Jungkook’s hit collaboration with Grammy-nominated rapper Jack Harlow. But the major highlight of the preview appears to be his unreleased heartbreaking anthem Hate You. The soul rendition captures Jungkook in a monochromatic frame throwing away a bouquet of flowers.

“I’m going to hate you. I’m going to hate you," he sings in the chorus before adding, “I’m going to blame you for things that you don’t do. Hating you is the only way it doesn’t hurt." The lyrics are quite contradicting from his previous smash hit Seven featuring Latto, wherein the musician takes a jolly frame to woo his romantic interest. This dynamic and polar opposite equation of Golden has fans utterly impressed. “Jungkook went from buying flowers to throwing away the flowers," highlighted a fan.

Many said Golden is a complete love story capturing all emotions, be it love, hate, happiness, and heartbreak. A user wrote, “Please we’re about to go through an entire relationship with Jeon Jungkook."

Elsewhere in the Golden Preview, Jungkook wins multiple hearts in his stylish yet somber avatar switching through music as snippets of his tracklist play one after another in succession. Catch a glimpse of it here:

ARMY has begun hailing Golden as the “Album of the Year" just by looking at the preview video. A section of music lovers suspect Golden to be filled with songs that they could listen to for hours and never get bored. The album isn’t out yet and the traction it has garnered seems profound. A fan commented, “Perfection! All the songs sound so good! And his voice. Can’t wait to hear all the songs when the album drops on November 3rd!"

Another agreed, “Truly a masterpiece. He’s really proving how versatile a singer he is."

One more shared their thoughts on the preview writing, “Phenomenal I would say. It’s unique that they’re so different but blended so well! Jungkook’s voice is the main attraction."

Golden is scheduled to drop on Friday, November 3.
