Ananya Panday On Becoming Pari IRL Amid Dating Aditya Roy Kapur; 'Will Be Hard For My Partner To...'

Ananya Panday is currently basking in the success of her recently released Dream Girl 2. The actress esssayed the role of a small town girl Pari in the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer. She recently opened up on the similarities between her character and herself.

In an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, Ananya shared that she would react exactly like Pari if her real life partner would go behind her back, much like Karan did in Dream Girl 2. The actress shared,

“I think I would be exactly like Pari. I also have 100 questions to ask, and my Instagram bio says ‘private investigator’ because I love finding out things, so it’ll be very hard for my partner to lie to me.”

Amid all this, the actress’ personal life often garners attention, and especially her rumoured relationship with Aditya Roy Kapur often hits headlines. Recently, the actress reacted to the same.

Earlier in an interview with ETimes, Ananya was asked if her personal life often overshadows her professional life as well, the actress seemingly addressing the dating rumours shared, “I don’t think it’s come in the way,” she began and added, “I think, unfortunately, I’ve not had a release for the last year as well. So, maybe the conversation has been slightly about my personal life in that time being.”

Coming back to Dream Girl 2, Ananya also opened up on working with Ayushmann Khurrana for the first time. She shared, “It was a great feeling working with Ayushmann. I was a fan of his before I got the chance to work with him. I had seen so many of his movies, first-day first show in the cinemas because I always think that a film with Ayushmann would be a solid film to watch. I was waiting for a chance to work with him as an actor as well. It was a great experience; he was so chill, so secure, and the vibe on set was always super light. We were shooting a comedy, and Raj sir, our director, is one of the funniest people I know. All the veterans, the comedy legends we worked with, they had so many funny stories and anecdotes. Many of them had worked with my dad also, so we were all just constantly laughing and having a good time on set.”
