Virat Kohli took to his Instagram account to share a mushy picture with wife Anushka Sharma as they celebrated the two-month birthday of their daughter Vamika. In the picture, Kohli is seen hugging Anushka and kissing her on her forehead, and the India skipper captioned the post with a heart emoji. Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli welcomed their daughter Vamika on January 11.
Anushka also took to her Instagram to share a photo of a tempting cake that the family cut on the special day.
Virat took to social media to announce the news of Vamika’s arrival and wrote, “We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Love, Virat.”
On the work front, Kohli will next be seen in action on Friday when he leads India in the first of five T20Is against England. He lead India to a 3-1 series win in the Tests against England after returning from a paternity break that saw him miss the last three Tests in Australia. On the other hand, Anushka is currently on a break from acting. She was last seen in Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Zero.
