Venkat Prabhu revealed that Moscow plays an important role in the film’s story as Vijay’s character undergoes “a major twist where he realises a lot of things that are happening here”. He also revealed that the reason for choosing Moscow was to give the audience a new visual experience, which is not common in South Indian cinema.
Venkat Prabhu also spoke about the cultural ties between India and Russia and expressed hope for future collaboration. A few weeks ago, a video from the set of the film went viral in which Vijay is seen riding a kick scooter. It seemed like the actor was having fun while shooting for the film GOAT in Russia.
After the mega success of Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Thalapathy Vijay is now gearing up for Goat: Greatest of All Time. The makers have released an official poster of the film that has left his fan base in a frenzy. It shows the actor sporting a salt-and-pepper look and glasses that make him look serious. A bomb blast, a passport and several visa stamps are also seen in the poster, hinting at the premise of the film. Interestingly, the poster also revealed the release date, September 5.
