The highly anticipated fourth season of the popular superhero satire The Boys is now streaming on Prime Video. The ongoing season of this action-packed drama premiered on June 13, 2024, with the release of three episodes. Fans can look forward to a new episode every week, with the fifth episode set to stream tomorrow, June 27th. For those eagerly awaiting the next installment, The Boys’ makers have released a teaser video of what’s in store for this Thursday’s episode.
“This Thursday, it’s #V52 with a side of sheep on V,” reads the text of the clip on X (formally Twitter). Take a look at it here:

The teaser shows a crossover of The Boys characters with Gen V characters. Gen V is a special spin-off series of The Boys that was released after its third season and deals with a group of teenagers exploring their superpowers.
The fifth episode, as per the teaser, will also mark the second half of the ongoing season. It focuses on Homelander’s return home for revenge. It shows the virus from Gen V and introduces Sam and Cate characters from the spin-off. They appear with The Seven in Vought Tower. The trailer also depicts sheep injected with Compound V which makes him take flight with bloodlust and sharp teeth.
Now, we have to wait for the next episode to know exactly what happens after the two worlds meet and what new plot twists and characters will be entertaining us for the rest of the season.
Meanwhile, the fourth season of the series continues to receive well-deserved praise, much like its previous three seasons. Showrunner Eric Kripke has been vocal about Antony Starr’s standout performance as Homelander in the earlier episodes of season four, as reported by Comicbook. Episode 5 sees Homelander returning to his childhood home, driven by a quest for revenge against those who shaped him into the formidable character he has become.
The teaser also hints that the next episode will feature some clips from the V52 Expo, where Vought will announce the projects in development for Phases 7 through 19.
