Tahira Kashyap Gives Fans A Glimpse Of Her ‘Life Lately’, Ayushmann Khurrana Makes A Surprise Entry

Ayushmann Khurrana’s wife Tahira Kashyap’s Instagram timeline is packed with family time and daily life updates. In her recent post, she added a bunch of pictures, giving us a glimpse of her ‘life lately’. Ayushmann and the couple’s kids also made a surprise entry in her carousel, which is too intriguing to be missed. It opens with an endearing picture featuring both Ayushmann Khurrana and Tahira Kashyap, embracing each other. Attached next is a clip wherein Tahira is engrossed in an intense workout routine.

It is followed by another picture of the director twinning with her family in the same T-shirt. One of the images also showcases her watching the Oscar-nominated animated short films at PVR. Tahira Kashyap and Ayushmann Khurrana got married in 2008. They are proud parents to two children – Virajveer and Varushka.

Work-wise, Tahira Kashyap made her directorial debut with the film Sharmajee Ki Beti, released on June 28. Presented by Applause Entertainment and produced by Ellipsis Entertainment Production, the film stars Sakshi Tanwar, Divya Dutta and Saiyami Kher in the lead roles. As for Sharmajee Ki Beti’s plot, it explores the aspirations, dreams and coming-of-age moments of middle-class women from diverse backgrounds. Promising a rollercoaster of emotions and laughter, the film takes viewers into the lives of three remarkable women, each navigating their own challenges with resilience.

Previously, in an interview with The Indian Express, Tahira Kashyap shared, “Sharmajee Ki Beti is a dream come true for me. The film is special to me not only because it marks my directorial debut, but also because it has provided me with an opportunity to explore a subject very close to my heart – women’s empowerment.”

As for Ayushmann Khurrana, the actor has carved a niche in the film industry with his performance in films like Badhaai Ho, Bala, Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Article 15, Gulabo Sitabo, Doctor G, Anek and An Action Hero. He was also honoured with a National Film Award for his role in the 2018 film Andhadhun.
