Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s blockbuster horror comedy, Stree 2, is now on OTT. After an outstanding six-week run at the box office, the film not only captivated audiences with its stellar performances but also smashed several records. Fans who were eagerly waiting for the film’s OTT release can now catch the film on Amazon Prime Video. However, there’s a catch! Stree 2 is currently available on a rental basis at a mere cost of Rs 349. After renting it on the platform, viewers will have a total of 30 days to start watching the film and 48 hours to finish it once they hit play.

However, those waiting to stream the film without the rental fee will have to wait for a few more days as it will soon be available for free. The film’s 2018 prequel is available to stream on Disney+Hotstar. Speaking about the film’s success, Shraddha Kapoor opened up to Femina, “For me, success is not defined by conventional measures. At this moment, as I speak with you, it’s about savouring a delicious meal, cherishing moments with my family, and nurturing meaningful relationships. To me, true success means having loved ones close, enjoying restful sleep, thriving in my work, balancing life, and being mentally at peace.” She even credited her father and aunt for inspiring her and teaching her not to take things for granted.
Stree 2 BO Collections
In its successful theatrical run, Stree 2 entered the prestigious Rs 600 crore club, collecting a total of Rs 695.85 crore in India alone and a whopping Rs 829 crore worldwide. With this, the film even dethroned Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan as the highest-grossing Bollywood film.
Stree 2 is still running in theatres. Made under the banner of Maddock Films, the movie features the star-studded ensemble of Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana. It also features cameos by Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan and Tamannaah Bhatia.
The film’s story picks up from the events of its predecessor, showing the town of Chanderi terrorised by a new entity called Sarkata. Vicky and his friends will reunite to fight off the mysterious character with help from Stree and Bhediya.
