Shruti Haasan Exits Adivi Sesh's Dacoit: A Love Story Amid Creative Differences

Shruti Haasan is currently making headlines for his upcoming projects like Salaar 2, Coolie and Chennai Story. A recent report suggests that the actress has walked away from one of her other upcoming projects, titled Dacoit: A Love Story.

The upcoming action drama film is directed by Shaneil Deo and is said to feature Shruti alongside Adivi Sesh as the main lead. The latest buzz indicates that the actress has reportedly walked away from the project, with creative differences between Shruti and the makers cited as the main reason for this major decision.

Some other reports have also claimed it was Adivi Sesh’s alleged control of the project’s dimensions led Shruti Haasan to exit it. There has been no official confirmation from either Shruti Haasan or the filmmakers regarding these claims.

The film had already built excitement among the viewers with the teaser, released in December last year. The film is said to revolve around two estranged lovers who are forcibly reunited, setting off a chain of events involving a series of robberies that ultimately change their lives.

A recent report says the scenes involving Shruti Haasan and Adivi Sesh are going to be scrapped and the Dacoit team will freshly shoot the scenes on Sesh and another actress (replacement). Shruti never had any issues creatively or with the production house; the actress even said that she has the highest regard for Sesh, but the reason for her exit from the film remains a mystery.

Meanwhile, the makers of Dacoit have already approached a couple of actresses as replacements. They are also considering Bollywood actresses and the name would be out very soon.

Despite losing out on Dacoit, Shruti’s other projects remain in the pipeline, including the promising film Coolie, starring Rajinikanth and others. The film’s cast was announced recently. It appears to be on track for its release.

Apart from her professional life, Shruti Haasan often grabs attention for her personal life. For the uninformed, she dated Shantanu Hazarika for several years before news of their breakup surfaced on social media. The actress has not publicly commented on the matter.
