Salman Khan grabbed attention after rumours started that his next film The Bull has been shelved and he has walked out of the project. But there is a new update about the action film. India Today has mentioned in its report that Karan Johar-Salman Khan project has not been shelved and the shoot will start in 2025.
The entertainment portal quoted a source saying, “The Bull’ will most likely go on floors in 2025. The film has gone back to the writing room and the script is being worked up, which is why there is a delay. Earlier, it was supposed to go on floors this year and it was eyeing Eid 2025 release.”
Earlier, a source close to the entertainment portal Bollywood Hungama mentioned that Karan Johar sought an extension from Salman until July, leading Salman to prioritize his collaboration with Sajid Nadiadwala and AR Murugadoss, which is scheduled to start in May 2024, “After a lot of back and forth on the dates, Karan and Vishnu were still not able to commit to the exact timelines of the shoot. That’s when Salman conveyed his decision to back out from the project. Salman politely informed his decision to Karan,” an anonymous source revealed.
The repeated delays have been attributed to fate by Salman, leading him to suggest moving on from the film. The report cited a bystander who shared, “Bhai said, ‘Destiny doesn’t want this film to happen, so let’s move on.’ Karan is exploring newer ideas for a collaboration with Salman.”
Speaking to Zoom, Salman Khan had earlier said, “I am doing a film called [The] Bull. Then Dabangg will come, Kick will come, Sooraj’s [Bharjatya] film will come. 3-4 films are coming.” It is believed that The Bull is Vishnu Vardhan’s directorial venture as earlier, Karan had revealed in an interview that he is working on a film called The Bull.
