Actress Raashii Khanna is set to appear in the upcoming thriller Yodha alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Disha Patani. The film, directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, has created considerable excitement with its star-studded cast. During a recent Instagram Q&A session, Raashii shared insights into her collaboration with Sidharth and provided fans with a sneak peek into their working dynamics on this eagerly awaited project. The actress also expressed her interest in collaborating with specific actors and directors in the future.
In response to a question about her experience working with Sidharth Malhotra, Raashii Khanna spoke highly of him, saying, “It was a great experience working with Sid. He is so disciplined and he has given it all for Yodha. He has worked very, very hard, especially on the action sequences because they look amazing and I’m looking forward to Yodha actually for his action and everything else.”
The actress further shared, “He is an amazing guy not just as an actor but as a person I got to know him and he is very spiritual and very sorted.”
When questioned about the actors she would like to work with in the future, Raashii Khanna shared an extensive list. Notable names on her wishlist include Mahesh Babu, Thalapathy Vijay, Allu Arjun, Ranbir Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan, and Hrithik Roshan.
The actress also unveiled the list of directors she would like to collaborate with, which includes Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Zoya Akhtar, Raju Hirani, Anurag Kashyap, Mani Ratnam, and more.
Yodha produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta under Dharma Productions, is scheduled to be released in theaters on March 15, 2024. The action-packed thriller revolves around an off-duty soldier who takes charge when terrorists hijack a plane, and the engine fails. His strategic plan becomes crucial for the survival of the passengers in this high-stakes situation.
Raashii Khanna made her Hindi film debut in 2013 with Madras Cafe, co-starring alongside John Abraham. Most recently, she played the role of Megha Vyas in the popular Amazon Prime series Farzi, sharing the screen with Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, and Kay Kay Menon. Apart from Yodha, Raashii has a diverse lineup of projects such as Aranmanai 4, The Sabarmati Report, Telusu Kada, Medhavi, and Sardar 2.
