Priyanka Chopra, known for sharing glimpses of her life on social media, recently treated fans to an exciting update. After taking a well-deserved break to celebrate husband Nick Jonas’s birthday, the actress is back to work and gearing up for her next project. She shared on her social media that she’s returned to the set of the much-anticipated drama Citadel 2, giving fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour that left them eager for more.
The video tour begins with a mirror selfie from Priyanka in a close-up shot, before she steps onto the set of Citadel—Season 2 in a sleek black outfit, her hair styled in a sharp ponytail. With sunglasses on, she playfully invites her followers, saying, “Come with me to the sets.”
Earlier, Priyanka had also shared a video of her drive to the set, captioning it, “Hello Citadel S 2.” Back in August, the actress teased fans with a clip flaunting her striking new honey-hued eye color, asking, “New eye color for Citadel, what do you think?” She completed the look with a beige and white striped top, subtle nude makeup, chic golden hoops, and layered necklaces. The video was captioned, “Citadel prep! Here we go…!”
Citadel is a thrilling spy series created by Josh Appelbaum, Bryan Oh, and David Weil, with the Russo brothers serving as executive producers. Premiering on April 28, 2023, the first season featured Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden as agents Nadia Sinh and Mason Kane, alongside a talented cast including Stanley Tucci and Lesley Manville.
For the highly anticipated second season, Citadel will introduce new faces to the cast, such as Merle Dandridge, Rahul Kohli, Michael Trucco, Matt Berry, and Gabriel Leone. Jack Reynor also joins the ensemble, further enriching the series.
In addition to Citadel’s main storyline, several spin-offs are in the works, set in various global locations. Citadel: Diana, the Italian series, is slated to release on October 10, with Matilda De Angelis leading the cast. The six-episode espionage drama, directed by Arnaldo Catinari, promises to be an exciting new chapter in the Citadel universe.
Following Citadel: Diana, the Indian spin-off Citadel: Honey Bunny is scheduled to premiere on November 7. Starring Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, the teaser has already created a buzz with glimpses of intense action sequences featuring both actors.
