Prasanna Vadanam Has A Never-seen-before Concept In Indian Cinema: Producer Manikanta JS

Actor Suhas will be playing the role of a common man with a unique medical condition in his next movie Prasanna Vadanam. It is written and directed by the debutant Arjun YK. The movie is produced by Manikanta J S and Prasad Reddy TR.

Apart from Suhas, actors Payal Radhakrishna, Rashi Singh, Nandu, Nitin Prasanna and Sai Swetha will also be playing prominent roles in the film. Prasanna Vadanam is slated to release in theatres on May 3. The makers have already released the trailer and teaser of the film. As the release date is coming near, the producers, director and lead cast of the movie have started promoting the movie. Now, producer JS Manikanta has shared special notes about the film in a recently held press conference.

While sharing the origin of the movie, Manikanta said that the story of Prasanna Vadanam came to him through a friend. He loved the story which was narrated by the debutant filmmaker Arjun YK who has also previously worked as an assistant director with Sukumar.

“I loved the story told by Arjun. When Suhas heard it, he also liked it. And so the project began,” said Manikanta JS in the press conference. The producer claims that the movie endorses a novel concept of face blindness. The makers have also shown the movie to giant production houses like Hombale and Mythri.

While building the hype for the film, the producer said, “This movie comes with the concept of face blindness. Such a concept has not yet come into Indian cinema. It is meant to entertain the audience from all walks of life. There is surprise content till the end.” Makers are also planning for the release of its dubbed versions and remakes.

Manikantha shared his thoughts on the debutant director and said the filmmaker has interestingly written the story. He added that director Arjun penned the story in the exact way he narrated it.

“Whatever emotion he told us, he brought the same emotion on the screen. He is very flexible. He is not proud to have worked with Sukumar. He listens to everyone’s advice.” added Manikanta JS. He claims that Arjun YK will become one of the leading directors in the Telugu industry.

Regarding actor Suhas, Manikanta JS said that now many directors are writing stories by keeping the Prasanna Vadanam actor in focus. He called him a disciplined actor. He said that he had a great experience working with the actor Suhas.
