Nick Jonas married Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra in two highly-anticipated ceremonies over the weekend at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. The couple had a Christian wedding on Saturday officiated by Nick's father Kevin Jonas Sr., and a traditional Hindu marriage the next day.
The complete Jonas family was in attendance -- Nick’s parents, and his brothers, Kevin, accompanied by wife Danielle, Joe and his fiancee, Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner, and Frankie Jonas. From the bride’s side, all her close friends and family members, including mother cousins Parineeti and Mannara, were present at the ceremony.
Taking to Instagram, Nick's father has welcomed Priyanka to the Jonas family with a heartfelt post. "What an amazing experience! Congratulations Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra on your marriage. I love you both, dad," he wrote.
A while ago, Priyanka shared the first official pictures from her wedding. "And forever starts now," she wrote.
For their Western wedding, the couple opted for designer Ralph Lauren's exquisite ensembles. While Priyanka stunned in a white gown which featured floral and scroll motifs, Nick looked dapper in a custom suit by the designer.
The duo donned Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee's creations for their Hindu wedding. Priyanka made a stunning bride in red hand-embroidered lehenga. Nick wore a hand-quilted silk sherwani with a hand-embroidered chikan dupatta and a chanderi tissue safa.
On Friday, following their arrival at the Umaid Bhawan Palace, the couple had held a Mehendi ceremony, where Priyanka had henna designs applied to her hands. On Saturday after the Christian marriage service, an elaborate dinner and the after-party was organised that apparently went late into the night. The couple also hosted a dance off with their families at the party.
