Kannada film Martin has been in the news since the last few days as fans are eagerly anticipating its trailer release. The upcoming movie is helmed by AP Arjun and is written by Arjun Sarja. It revolves around the story of Lieutenant Brigadier Arjun Saxena, who is in the Indian Army Military Force and his journey takes him from Pakistan to India. He discovers his real self, while he fights off the black market dealers and terrorists. Martin is touted to be an action thriller film that will keep the viewers hooked to the screen. The film’s lead actor, Dhruva Sarja, in the second press meet of Martin has claimed that the film has three elements in it – action, thriller and suspense. He added, “There is a bit of drama in our film and the rest is action.” He added that there is a love story too. Dhruva Sarja expressed that a film should have a love story along with action and hence, the director has incorporated the romance element in Martin.
Martin remains a major action thriller with many fight sequels. As per reports, the crew has used a sophisticated camera. At the press meet, the director claimed that the effect of the camera on the action sequel would be quite evident.
Reportedly, the trailer of the highly-anticipated film is all set to be released on August 5 in 13 different languages including Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Bengali, Arabic, Russian, Korean, Chinese, and English at 5.55 pm. The film will grace the silver screens on October 11.
As per reports, the makers may release the Kannada trailer of Martin a day earlier, that is August 4. Previously, the teaser was dropped for fans at Veeresh Cinemas in Bengaluru and now, the trailer release will also be at the same place with the availability of tickets, marking a first for the Kannada industry.
Martin is backed by Uday K Mehta. It stars Dhruva Sarja, Vaibhavi Shandilya, Malavika Avinash, and Achyut Kumar. The screenplay is written and directed by AP Arjun with Ravi Basrur providing the background score.
