Every year, more than 200 films are released in the Sandalwood or Kannada industry. But the number of women-oriented films is very low. Also, the number of female directors in the industry is very rare. For that matter, Sri Pallavi, a Kannada lady director, based on her experience, is making a women-centric film. She is directing a film, called Canberry Babies. The film is released with a female lead suspense, thriller and murder mystery concept.
The film will revolve around five young women. The mahurat ceremony for the film takes place earlier at Sri Balamuri Balachandra Mahaganapati Temple in Bengaluru. The film follows the five women who came to Bengaluru with big dreams and faced all kinds of problems and risks when they came here.
There is also a tagline that reads Bloody Sweet. Along with an interesting title, an interesting poster has also been released. The work on the film has just started. This is the second film for the director of this film, Sri Pallavi. She has done the film Mayajala before this. Before that, she worked on various films as an associate. Thus, she has about 8 years of directing experience.
The cast of the film is Nandini Gowda, Raksha and Sinchana Shetty. Sandeep Malani also acted in this film. Comedian Vijay Chendoor has scripted the film and he also acts as a constable. Actor and director Nagendra Urs is playing a special role in this film. This role is so special that there is no doubt that it is the turning point for the whole story.
