Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan are two of the most esteemed figures in the entertainment industry. In a recent interview, filmmaker Karan Johar, who has collaborated with both actors, spoke about their remarkable charisma. Johar praised Shah Rukh Khan for his sharp intellect and compassionate nature. Conversely, he highlighted the profound impact of Amitabh Bachchan’s presence, noting the powerful aura that he exudes.
Speaking to celebrity astrologer Jai Madaan, Karan Johar said, “I have admiration for Shah Rukh Khan. His mind, his heart, his ability. I am in awe of how much he has done to nurture his mind. He always had a beating heart. That always existed. He has a big heart. But, his mind is like a maze.” Karan Johar noted that SRK has the remarkable ability to command attention whenever he speaks. “He is that kind of an actor, who doesn’t just become an ambassador for our industry, but for our nation.”
Karan Johar also offered his thoughts on Amitabh Bachchan’s remarkable presence. He said, “Mr Amitabh Bachchan has the power of his being, that when he enters a room, most people stand up. They don’t know why they are standing up.” Karan stated that the megastar radiates an aura that is beyond anyone’s comprehension and can leave a lasting imprint on their life. “You will be the most awkward version of yourself in front of him. I have heard people say and do all kind of strange things because they don’t know how to react. That is true power,” he said.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up to share the screen with his daughter Suhana Khan in Sujoy Ghosh’s King. The film is also expected to star Abhishek Bachchan. Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in Kalki 2898 AD and is currently hosting the game show Kaun Banega Crorepati 16. Karan Johar is also set to host the Indian version of the reality show, The Traitors. The show, which debuted in the United States last year and is inspired by a Dutch show, will be an unscripted show with 20 contestants participating this year. The show will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
