Jitendra Kumar Reveals Panchayat 3 Climax Scene Was Inspired By A Real-Life Incident

Panchayat is one of the most popular web series at present, with a massive fanbase. Its simple storytelling, realistic characters and soft humour have resonated well with the audience. The show released its third season recently, and the viewers were amazed to see how it concluded. Spoiler Alert! If you have not watched the show yet, Sachiv Ji (Jitendra Kumar) confronting Banrakas, aka Bhushan (Durgesh Kumar) about his persistent misbehaviour has a separate fanbase. In his latest interview, Jitendra Kumar revealed that the scene was inspired by a real life incident.

Jitendra Kumar, who captivated hearts with the climax scene of Panchayat Season 3 in conversation with Pinkvilla stated, “Uske videos available the, toh unse inspire hoke woh scene hamne execute kiya hai, and we are glad ke woh us tareeke se execute ho paaya aur logon ko pasand aaya (Videos of the occurrence are available, and we based the scene on them. We are delighted that it was accomplished as intended, and the audience appreciated it).”

Furthermore, the actor revealed how it was shot and finally edited to give it a realistic effect. Jitendra added that the scene was shot in one night, and the team rehearsed it multiple times beforehand. He went on to say that the sequence was well-choreographed and then broken down in such a way that it did not appear choreographed on screen. He added that the team aimed to make the scene appear chaotic and avoid any problems while filming it. The climax scene involved a violent fight between Sachiv ji and Bhushan.

Deepak Kumar Mishra directed the series, which was scripted by Chandan Kumar and produced by TVF. The series, which premiered its first season on Prime Video in April 2020, was an instant success and had a massive response, prompting the release of a second season in 2022. The third season premiered on May 28 of this year. The plot revolves around an engineering graduate who is obliged to become a panchayat secretary in the fictional town of Phulera, Uttar Pradesh, due to a lack of employment options. Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy and Sanvikaa reprised their roles in the popular series this year.
