Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh is clearly on a roll. After making it big on the global stage with The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, he is now here with his latest Punjabi film, Jatt and Juliet 3. Co-starring Neeru Bajwa, the film has opened in theatres, receiving a warm reception from the audience. Ahead of the film’s Friday release, Diljit Dosanjh attended the film’s premiere in Chandigarh, where he was greeted by a sea of fans at a mall.
Diljit took to Instagram and shared a video of his premiere outing. In the video, he can be seen greeting fans, waving to them and showing gratitude toward them with folded hands. As he moved around the theatre and then into the mall, the crowd that was desperately waiting for him immediately surrounded and followed him.

It is not surprising to see such a massive gathering at the premiere to catch a glimpse of the actor-singer, who is already a sensation among his Punjabi fans. Their excitement and craze were top-notch, as evident from the cheers, applause, and rush. Dressed in a complete white ensemble with a bright red turban, Diljit did not forget to show his thankful gesture toward them.

Prior to his premiere visit, the actor took part in several promotional events and interacted with the audience.

Dosanjh is presently on a brief break from his North American music tour, Dil-Luminati, and going all out and about to promote his latest film, Jatt & Juliet 3. The actor, who is known for his perfect comic timing and sense of humour is seen in the third installment, which comes 12 years after the second part came out. Besides Diljit and Neeru, the film also stars actors like Nasir Chinyoti, BN Sharma, Rana Ranbir and Elena Skryabina.
Directed and written by Jagdeep Sidhu, the film shows the lead couple playing cops in Paris. While Diljit’s character falls in love with Neeru, a twist comes up where a third person marks an entry, leading to a chaotic situation.
As the film unfolds, it will reveal which of the couple will finally end up together after going through a tumultuous journey in a foreign land. Diljit was last in Amar Singh Chamkila, opposite Parineeti Chopra.
