IFFI 2016: Baastushaap Makes The Cut For The Indian Panorama Section
'Bastushaap' is a love story, based on the concept of Feng Shui and Vastu Shastra, and revolves around five characters, who live in the same house.

Kolkata: Filmmaker Kaushik Ganguly's Baastushaap has been selected for the Indian Panorama section of the upcoming IFFI 2016.

One of the lead actors Abir Chatterjee, busy shooting for Kaushik's another film themed on border now, said on twitter last night "happy proud excited#baastushaap#iffi2016#indianpanorama congrats team..."

The Directorate of Film Festivals (DFF) Government of India said on twitter "Official selection, #IndianPanorama at #iffi2016 #bengali #film#Baastushaap@KGunedited@utterlyChurni@itsmeabir@paramspea k@raimasen.

Parambrata, who essayed another important role, tweeted back in reply 'Yaaaay' while female lead Raima retweeted the same.

Kaushik, whose Cinemawala, Apur Panchali, Chhotoder Chhobi, had in the past been feted by IFFI, when contacted expressed, happiness over the developments.
