‘Ended With Brotherhood’: Shawn Levy Hugs Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman As Deadpool 3 Wraps Up

Passing the hurdles of the SAG-AFRA strike, the third sequel of the much-awaited Marvel movie franchise Deadpool 3 has finally wrapped shooting. Headlined by Ryan Reynolds, the actor on January 24 dropped the announcement on social media making MCU fans happy. He credited the relentless efforts and hard work of the cast and crew members for the film’s completion. Ryan Reynolds also expressed his gratitude for working with his “closest pals” aka co-star Hugh Jackman and Deadpool 3’s director Shawn Levy. Now, the director has dropped a couple of pictures on Instagram, celebrating the new “brotherhood” he formed with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman whilst shooting.

“Started with friendship. Ended with brotherhood. Deadpool 3 July 26,” wrote Shawn Levy. The monochromatic photographs captured the director sharing a warm hug with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. The trio sported beaming smiles on their faces, delving into a bromance moment with one another. They had their arms around each other in the candid and heartfelt clicks, presumably bidding goodbye with a heavy heart as the film wrapped up.

Social media users wasted no time to react to the photos. Expressing their eagerness to catch Deadpool 3 soon after its release, one user wrote, “Love it. Can’t wait to see it.” Another chimed in, “MCU’s greatest movie is being cooked.” “When you see a pic like this and know the true passion is there, the product will be,” commented a third individual. “Congrats on making something special!! Something millions have wanted for years,” read another lovely remark. Others showered their love and appreciation by going all red hearts in the comments.

Earlier Ryan Reynolds shared a below-the-belt image of himself, dressed in his Deadpool superhero spandex costume and wrote, “The suit hides the blood. Also, sweat… But today, with Deadpool wrapping, it’s mostly tears. A giant and forever thanks to the cast and crew of our film who battled the wind, rain, strikes, and Hugh Jackman… all under the stalwart leadership of Shawn Levy. I got to make a movie with my closest pals and that doesn’t happen very often.”

Apart from Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, Deadpool 3 boasts a cast ensemble of Emma Corrin, Jennifer Garner, Matthew Macfadyen, Rob Delaney, Morena Baccarin, and Brianna Hildebrand. The action-comedy is slated to premiere on July 26.
