Diljit Dosanjh has made his late-night US TV debut on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The singing sensation recently performed his hits, Born To Shine and G.O.A.T. on the popular chat show. The video of his performance has gone viral across social media.

Jimmy Fallon introduced Diljit as “the biggest Punjabi artist on the planet”. Diljit, who opted for a white kurta, white turban and black leather jacket-vest for his performance, looked dapper as he performed his popular songs. Check out his performance here:

Earlier today, Jimmy took to social media to share some fun BTS moments with the singer. In a now-viral video, Diljit Dosanjh taught Jimmy Fallon how to say phrases like ‘Punjabi aa gaye oye’ and ‘Sat Sri Akal’. Jimmy repeated the phrases as best as he could and Diljit appeared to be a proud teacher. The show also shared a warm hug.

During a recent interview with Raj Shamani, Diljit shared his thoughts on this exciting opportunity and also spilt beans about his musical act. When probed about his song choice, Diljit shared his laid-back approach, saying, “Gaana abhi decide nahi kiya. Wo plane mein, decide ho jayega. I haven’t decided on the song yet. Will decide on the plane).”

Diljit Dosanjh, only recently, shared the big news with the caption, “PANJABI AAGYE OYEE This Week’s Guest @jimmyfallon @fallontonight @nbc BHANGRA HUN MAINSTREAM PENA PROPER HOLLYWOOD.” He also shared a screenshot that confirmed his presence for the talk show. The guest list for the week on the popular show also included acclaimed actors Eddie Murphy, Kevin Costner, and The Bear star Matty Matheson.

Diljit Dosanjh is riding high on waves of success, marked by a series of international concerts, chart-topping albums, and critically acclaimed movie roles. Earlier this year, Diljit made waves in Canada where he performed to a thrilled crowd at Vancouver’s BC Place stadium, where more than 54,000 fans witnessed his electrifying presence.

In addition to his musical achievements, Diljit recently appeared in the Netflix release Amar Singh Chamkila, alongside Parineeti Chopra, who plays Amarjot Singh, Chamkila’s wife.
