Devara: Janhvi Kapoor Calls Telugu Debut ‘Ghar Wapsi,’ Says She Wants To Do Every Film With Jr NTR

Janhvi Kapoor will be making her Telugu debut with Devara Part 1. The film also stars Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan. Since its announcement, it has been creating buzz among the audience. Well, recently makers have also released two romantic songs featuring Janhvi and Jr NTR. Fans are loving their chemistry already. And today at the trailer launch, Janhvi Kapoor said that she also wants to do every film with Jr NTR aka Tarak. The film is releasing on September 27.

Speaking at the event, Janhvi, who opted for a golden saree, said, “Yeh mere debut film hai aur honestly aisa lag raha hai mere ghar wapsi bhi hai kyunki mere first Telugu film hai. This is very very very special. Thank you so much for showing up with so much enthusiasm. Even I also want to do every single film with Tarak sir. I had so much fun. I learned so much and everyone knows what a big fan I have always been and I think I have become bigger fan of him after having work with him.”

Ahead of its release on September 27, the film has already achieved a new milestone. Devara: Part 1 has become the fastest Indian film to sell 15,000 tickets in the USA. That too, just days after the launch of pre-sale tickets. The makers shared the happy news by dropping Devara’s poster, featuring Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, on Instagram. The side note read, “Fastest 15K+ Tickets sold for any Indian film in the USA.”

In addition to Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, Devara: Part 1 boasts a stellar cast including Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj and Shruthi Marathe. Reports suggest that the film’s runtime might stretch to around 3 hours and 10 minutes, though an official confirmation from the makers is still pending.

Earlier, the makers of Devara: Part 1 released the tracks Fear Song and Chuttamallle, both of which were met with enthusiastic responses from fans. On Saif Ali Khan’s birthday, they also unveiled a sneak peek of his character, Bhaira. The teaser showcases a gripping fight sequence, with Saif Ali Khan looking intense and sharp as he runs through a jungle.

Jahnvi, on the other hand, will also be seen in the romantic drama film Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari opposite Varun Dhawan. Backed by Karan Johar, the film is directed by Shashank Khaitan.
