Standup Comedian Neel Nanda, known for his performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live and Comedy Central’s Adam Devine’s House Party, passed away at the age of 32. The news of his demise was confirmed by his manager, Greg Weiss. He had been overseeing Nanda’s career since he was 19.

Greg Weiss expressed deep shock in a statement reported by Deadline on Sunday, December 24, saying, “I am deeply shocked and saddened by this. He was a wonderful comic, but a better person.” Weiss highlighted Neel Nanda’s promising future, mentioning that he was fully booked with appearances scheduled for January and February. The cause of Nanda’s death remains unknown. As reported by the Los Angeles Times, nine days before his demise, comedian Neel Nanda headlined a Toronto comedy club for the first time. He had invited fans to join him in celebrating his birthday weekend downtown after the show.

Born in Atlanta, comedian Neel Nanda shared in a 2018 interview with VC Reporter that his interest in comedy took root during his childhood. His affiliation with Jimmy Kimmel began in 2017, featuring his debut in a 5-minute set, as reported by Deadline.

Beyond his stand-up engagements, he plays an active role in producing live shows in LA, particularly the well-regarded Unnecessary Evil, recently acknowledged as one of LA Weekly’s top 10 stand-up shows.
