Luv Ki Arrange Marriage, starring Sunny Singh and Avneet Kaur, is set to premiere on Zee5 this week, on June 14. Leading up to the release, Avneet Kaur has shared insights into her on-screen chemistry with Sunny Singh, her motivations for taking on this role, and other behind-the-scenes details during an exclusive chat with News18 Showsha.
When asked about her reaction to the script of Luv Ki Arrange Marriage, Avneet Kaur stated, “I thought this movie has a very fresh take on the concept that we’ve already seen many times on screen. Raj sir has always delivered such amazing scripts and stories, and this is one such addition. Even when I saw Dream Girl, I felt it was a very unique story. I wanted to work with him for a very long time and yes, that is also one of the reasons why I said yes and also the reason why I chose this film.”
She further revealed what attracted her to the character, “Raj sir and the differentiated storyline definitely drew me to the character. Furthermore, the ability for Ishika to be such a responsible girl at such a young age, to take care of her mother and her whole family. Although she has sisters—in the film, the way she handles every situation so gracefully and with such responsibility is what I really admired about her character,” she explained.
Avneet also addressed similarities between her and her character Ishika. She stated, “I think the responsibility factor is something I completely relate to because I’ve always been so responsible at home. I’ve always been the sort of kid who takes responsibility for her parents. So, I feel that is something I completely relate to.”
Avneet finally recalled how she and Sunny Singh navigated their chemistry, “It was nice from the beginning; he was very sweet and very comfortable as a co-actor. He never made me feel even the slightest bit uncomfortable. He has always been the sort of person who has helped me learn a lot of things while on set. So caring and supportive, which is something every girl would want from her male co-actor,” she concluded.
