Ravi Teja’s latest film Eagle, which premiered on February 9, received a mixed to negative response from the audience. In a recent interview promoting Eagle, producer TG Vishwa Prasad opened up about the corruption he encountered in the Telugu film industry at various levels. Following this, he took to Twitter to clarify his stance on the matter. Prasad alleged that corruption in the industry has led to a decline in the quality of his films. He stated that certain prominent producers misinterpreted his comments, accusing him of insulting trade union workers. Prasad clarified that he intended to highlight how workers in his production house were not receiving their dues due to corruption. Despite considering legal action against those responsible, he opted to spare them out of concern for their families.

Prasad did not name the individuals responsible for the corruption in his tweet. Regarding Eagle, critics have criticised the film for its lacklustre script and mindless action sequences. Directed by Karthik Gattamneni, the movie features Anupama Parameswaran, Navdeep, Madhoo, Kavya Thapar and others. Reportedly, ticket prices for Eagle have been set at Rs 200 for multiplexes and Rs 150 for single-screen theatres. The film is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibhotla under the People Media Factory banner.
Furthermore, People Media Factory is set to produce the film Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, in collaboration with T-Series Films. Starring Prabhas, Trisha Krishnan and Anant Nag, Spirit is expected to commence pre-production work soon, with filming slated to begin in 2024. The project was delayed due to prior commitments of Sandeep and Prabhas. Prabhas is rumoured to portray an honest police officer in Spirit, with further details to be revealed in due course.
Additionally, People Media Factory will join forces with Prabhas for The Raja Saab, written and directed by Maruthi Dasari. The film will also feature Sanjay Dutt, Malavika Mohanan and others in pivotal roles.
