Rajkummar Rao will be next seen in a biopic ‘Srikanth’. The makers released the trailer on Tuesday and since then fans have been praising him for his flawless performance. Well, Arjun Kapoor also joined the trend and heaped praise on him. He took to his social handle and shared the trailer.
He wrote, “Amazing to see ur friends grow with every film aspire to do better work and keep pushing the boundaries… Looking forward to this one… The trailer opens with Srikanth opening up on his ambition to become India’s first blind president to President APJ Abdul Kalam. Achieving excellent marks in education, Srikanth develops an interest in the field of science but faces challenges in securing admission. Once he discovers the lack of provisions for visually impaired students to pursue science within the Indian education system, he takes legal action against it. Eventually, he earns a merit scholarship to enroll in MIT. Jyothika stars as his teacher and Alaya F as his love interest.

Besides Rajkummar Rao, Srikanth also stars Jyothika, Alaya F and Sharad Kelkar. Previously, in an exclusive conversation with News18 Showsha, Alaya opened up about working with Rajkummar for the first time and had said, “He’s just so in character – he’s so invested in acting. It’s incredible. I mean, it’s a masterclass watching him do what he does. He’s also really, really sweet, kind and a lovely person. So, it was great working with him!”
Gulshan Kumar and T-Series Presents a T-Series Films & Chalk N Cheese Films Production LLP, ‘Srikanth – Aa Raha Hai Sabki Aankhein Kholne’ is directed by Tushar Hiranandani. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Nidhi Parmar Hiranandani. It will be released nationwide on May 10, 2024, on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya.
On the work front, Arjun Kapoor will be next seen in Singham Again. He will be essaying the role of villain in Ajay Devgn starrer.
