Anushka Sharma has quite a year. The actress had three back-to-back releases namely Pari, Sanju and Sui Dhaaga. She is currently busy promoting her upcoming film Zero along with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. Apart from her professional career, Anushka is also making headlines for her personal life. Lately, there have been constant speculations about her pregnancy.
However, Anushka has shunned the rumours saying there is "absolutely no truth" to it and it’s not something that’s being planned in the near future.
"I got married at a young age for a reason. If you are having a baby, it is something that no one can hide. You can still hide a marriage, but not the fact that you are pregnant," Anushka told The Times of India.
"People can keep speculating (about someone being pregnant), and then after four months when they realise that these stories are false, they will feel silly and say, ‘Let’s go after the other one who got married, let’s talk about her now’! This is done to generate news," the actress added.
Anushka tied the knot with Virat Kohli in an intimate ceremony in Italy's Tuscany. The two dated for over four years before getting married on December 11 last year.
Meanwhile, in Zero, the actress reportedly essays the role of a wheelchair-bound scientist. The film, which is set to release on December 21, celebrates the 'incompleteness in people.'
