Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's wedding has been one of the most talked about events over the past few days. The couple solemnised their six year relationship with a fiercely private wedding in Italy. From the media to their fans, everybody wanted to be a part of their extravagant celebrations at the Villa del Balbianello in Lake Como.
In fact, there were reports about Anil Kapoor being miffed with Ranveer for not inviting him and his family to his wedding. A source had even told In.com, "Anil Kapoor and family are rather upset about being excluded from the celebrations in spite of them being family to Ranveer Singh. What could have been more upsetting is that the Kapoors were not even invited to the haldi ceremony which was right here in Mumbai. In fact, someone like YRF casting director Shanoo Sharma too was invited to the haldi while the Kapoors weren't."
Now, Anil has broken his silence over the reports. During a Q&A session at the ongoing IFFI in Goa, the actor said, "I don’t know where the news of me being upset with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone for not calling me came from. I am going to their reception on the 1st December and I am looking forward."
It may be recalled that Anil had congratulated Ranveer and Deepika soon after they shared their wedding pictures on social media. "That’s one good looking couple right there! #ThePerfectMatch May those smiles never leave your faces! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness, love & togetherness! Lots of love coming your way! @RanveerOfficial @deepikapadukone," he had tweeted.

Now all eyes are on DeepVeer's Mumbai reception where the galaxy of stars will descend at the Grand Hyatt on December 1.
