The newest parents in town, Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal, welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on Monday evening. Ever since the news came out, congratulatory messages and best wishes have been pouring in from fans and celebrities alike. The Badlapur actor’s close friend, actress Ananya Panday, also extended a heartfelt greeting with a “lot of love” for their daughter. Taking to her Instagram Stories, Ananya shared Varun’s announcement video and wrote, “Baby no. 1!! Awesome people make awesome babies and you guys are really awesome VD and Nats. So much love for your baby girl.”
Varun also reshared Ananya’s post on her stories and thanked her for the lovely wish. Natasha delivered a baby girl at Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital on June 3. Right after the baby’s arrival, Varun’s father, director David Dhawan, met the paparazzi stationed outside the hospital and confirmed the news. Later, Varun Dhawan also stepped out, looking all happy and grateful as he greeted the media.
Sharing the news with his Instagram family, the actor shared a special video and wrote, “Our baby girl is here. Thank u for all the good wishes for the mama and the baby.”
Celebrities instantly took to their respective social media handles and sent warm wishes. From Varun’s close buddy Arjun Kapoor to his Student Of The Year co-stars Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt, and debut director Karan Johar among others, the couple received heartwarming messages throughout the evening. “My baby had a baby girl!!!! I am over the moooooooon!!!! Congratulations to the proud mama and papa!!! Love you Natasha and Varun,” Johar wrote on Instagram.
Alia Bhatt seemed overjoyed as she reposted Varun’s announcement video and wrote, “Joy, joy and pure joy. Another little girl who is going to rule the world. Congratulations dearest Nat and VD.”
For the unversed, Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal got married in an intimate ceremony in 2021, after years of dating. Earlier this year, they announced Natasha’s pregnancy through an adorable maternity picture.
Ananya Panday’s Work Front
Last seen in Zoya Akhtar’s Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, Ananya Panday will be next seen in Call Me Bae. Recently, both Varun Dhawan and Ananya shared a video, introducing the latter as a fashion icon.
The actress also took over as the assistant director on the sets. Besides this, she also has Control and The Untold Story of C Sankaran Nair in the pipeline.
