Amitabh Bachchan Calls Anant-Radhika's Pre-Wedding Bash 'Extraordinary': 'Only Seeing Can Be Believed'

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities were held in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The three-day celebrations went on from March 1 to March 3 and saw the biggest names across industries fly down to Jamnagar. Amitabh Bachchan also took part in the celebrations with his family. The actor recently opened up about the experience and called it extraordinary.

Amitabh Bachchan wrote in his blog, “It has to be said, the experience was one never seen before… not just the atmosphere of the wedding, but the VanTara animal relief facility… goodness me… what an extraordinary experience and the most scientific set-up for the animals that get maltreated, to be brought here at this farm and nurtured out of diseased or compromised environ, and given a fresh healthy rejuvenated life…”

“This is an experience only seeing can be believed… and no more details for the joy and ecstasy of the experience shall be driven away… but see you all must… and then the glory of the Shlokas, the chanting of the mantras and the truly divine atmosphere and environ created by the hosts… simply incredible,” he added.

Among the distinguished guests that descended to Jamnagar for Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding bash, several Bollywood celebrities names including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ananya Panday, Aditya Roy Kapur, Alia Bhatt, Arjun Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, and Aditya Roy Kapur were spotted attending the grand and special occasion.

Bollywood’s iconic singer Lucky Ali serenaded the attendees with several hit tracks. Among the other performers were Shreya Ghoshal, Arijit Singh and Akon. Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan took to the stage to shake a leg to Chammak Challo as Akon and Sukhbir sang the chartbuster. They were joined by Radhika Merchant, Anant Ambani, Suhana Khan and Gauri Khan. Rihanna, B Praak and Diljit Dosanjh also performed at the event.

Anant Ambani, 28, the youngest son of chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries Limited Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani, is set to wed Radhika Merchant, 29, the daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant and his wife Shaila Merchant. While the wedding will be held later this year, a three-day pre-wedding bash was organised in Gujarat’s Jamnagar city from March 1 to 3.
