It’s always a proud feeling when you get to see Indian fashion shine bright on International platforms. While there’s a lot to watch out for in 2024, here’s looking back at what Chloe Bailey, Ustad Zakir Hussain and Shankar Mahadevan picked to wear at the Grammys 2024.

Placed by Hema Bose of Maison Bose, the 66th Annual Grammy Awards 2024 saw American singer-songwriter Chloe Bailey grace the awards night in a glamorous seed olive gown accentuated with shimmery zardozi embroidery. The look was from Gaurav Gupta’s haute couture collection Hiranyagarbha and Chloe was styled by Timothy Luke Garcia. Ustad Zakir Hussain in Manish Malhotra
Manish Malhotra is a modern Indian tale of celebratory couture. Making India and its crafts global, Manish once again ruled the red carpet with his bespoke designs. At the 66th Annual Grammy Awards 2024, Ustad Zakir Hussain who was awarded Best Global Music Performance for Pashto, stepped on stage in an Indian tuxedo adorned with metallic cascading floral embroidery designed by couturiere Manish Malhotra. The tuxedo embodied elegance and refinement, setting a sartorial standard on the global stage. Manish Malhotra also took to Instagram to congratulate the table maestro. “Many congratulations @zakirhq9 Sir for being the first Indian artist ever to win 3 Grammy Awards on a single night. It was an honour to dress and style you in our Indian Tuxedo,” shared Manish Malhotra.
Shankar Mahadevan in Sabyasachi
Sabyasachi Mukherjee is known for keeping it classic when it comes to Indian silhouettes. Music composer and singer Shankar Mahadevan whose band Shakti, which also features guitarist John McLaughlin, table maestro Ustad Zakir Hussain, percussionist V Selvaganesh and violinist Ganesh Rajagopalan won the Grammy Award in the Best Global Music Album category for This Moment. Shankar stepped on the global stage in a quintessential bandhgala suit paired with off-white pants to receive the award.
