Wounded woman sheltered at destitute home

KOCHI: A woman who was found under the Kathrikadavu overbridge with a wound on her head was admitted to the Kabarnam Destitute Home. The woman was mentally deranged.  The smell emanating  from her wounds was making it difficult to go near her. Though people saw her lying on the road, she was completely ignored. It was Thomas, who is living under the overbridge, who gave the information about the wounded woman to social worker Murugan.  Though the woman was throwing violent tantrums, she became calm when she was given some food.  Later she was taken to the hospital by Murugan, his aides and Kabarnam  authorities.
