World Blood Donors Day observance

KOCHI: In connection with the World Blood Donors Day, the Amrita Blood Collectors and Donors (ABCD) Forum, a students’ initiative at the AIMS, Kochi, is organising a week-long campaign aimed at increasing the number of voluntary donations.  The ‘Blood Donation Week’ includes a variety of awareness programmes and the blood donation drives encouraging everyone from doctors, students and staff to the layman to donate blood and register as voluntary blood donors.  The blood donation week will culminate with a grand function which includes a musical event on June 22.
