HYDERABAD: Police are relying on the suspicion of a woman from Alapatinagar Nagar to crack the mystery behind the kidnap and murder of DRDO scientist's son Pranav Chalavadi, whose body was found in a nala at Gudimalkapur on Monday.Meanwhile, police are also clueless as the pen drive, which the boy was said to have been carrying was not found along with his body.Based on the description by the woman who raised suspicion about an unidentified middle-aged person loitering in the locality on June 10, police released a sketch of the suspect in the murder of the 11-year-old boy. Pranav, who was waiting for his friend outside his house on June 10 was allegedly kidnapped and smothered to death."The woman, whose identity is kept secret for security purposes told us that she saw the person moving around suspiciously in the locality. He was wearing glasses and was unshaven," police said. The sketch was circulated to police stations across the city and a search was launched to track him down.Investigators said the pen drive, which Pranav was carrying and which is regarded as a possible motive for the murder, was not found with the body. Police suspect that Pranav's uncle, who got divorced recently, could be one of the reasons for the murder. The relatives his ex-wife had once threatened to cause harm to the family.Meanwhile, police asked general public to pass on information about the suspect to Asifnagar police inspector on telephone number -- 94906-16554 or on landline number 27852407 or 100.
