Woman among five held for killing auto driver

HYDERABAD:  Kachiguda police on Friday arrested five persons including a housewife in connection with the murder of an auto driver, who was allegedly killed by the relative of the woman on May 5. Police said  the deceased  was harassing the housewife over phone.The accused included  S Bhanupriya, a housewife, her uncles Reddapaka Sanraj (39), Balakrishna ( 30) and her uncle’s friends K Sanjeev and S Anand.According to police,  the deceased A Raju (25), an auto-rickshaw driver and Bhanupriya used to talk over mobile phone. Bhanupriya’s uncle caught her talking to Raju and warned her not to speak to him.  After Bhanupriya began to avoid him, Raju used to call her continuously.  DCP  Y Gangadhar said, “Following Raju continuously harassing Bhanupriya over phone, she told it to her uncle Sanraj, who along with his brother Balakrishna hatched a plan to kill him.”
